Can you escape before night falls?

You are trapped in a house with a man whose mind is fractured into multiple, unpredictable personalities. By day, he leaves your room unlocked, attempting to play house. By night, you are locked away. The front door is your only way out, but it's secured with a passcode.

To survive, you must navigate the house, identify which personality is currently in control, and exploit their unique weaknesses to gather clues.

Core Gameplay

  • Observe: Watch your captor closely. Is he the clumsy Forgetful, or someone else entirely?
  • Plan: Wait for the perfect moment. For example, follow the forgetful till he mistakenly drops the crowbar that you can use to reveal a clue under a loose floorboard!
  • Execute: Sneak through the house, find hidden neon clues visible only in the dark, and piece together the password to the outer door.

  • [W, A, S, D] - Move
  • [Space] - Interact
  • [E] - Secondary Interact
  • [Number Keys/Click on Inventory Slots] - Use/Activate Item

Install instructions

How to Play:

  1. Download: Click the Download button above to save the .zip folder to your computer.
  2. Extract: Right-click the downloaded .zip file and select Extract All... (or extract using 7-Zip / WinRAR).
    Note: Make sure to extract all files before running the game. Do not run the .exe directly from inside the zipped folder.
  3. Launch: Open the extracted folder and double-click TooManyFaces_commerical.exe to start playing.
  4. Credits: Full asset attributions, licenses, and external sources can be found in the included Credits.md file inside the folder.

System Requirements & Notes:

  • OS: Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)
  • Prerequisites: None required! All necessary engine dependencies are bundled into the executable.
  • Windows Defender / SmartScreen Warning: Because this build is from an independent developer without a paid digital certificate, Windows may display a blue "Windows protected your PC" prompt upon launch. If this occurs, simply click "More info" and then select "Run anyway".
